The motion was adopted.
Not that it will happen as you can see from the article below but talk about a bunch of villains out of touch with the times and their constituents.
And all to keep a few seats in Newfoundland.

Unbelievable. I thought the Bush Administration was ideologically blinded, but this isn’t even ideology it’s just greed, or some other stupid motivation. Are all your MPs 12 years old? Jesus.

The blatant arrogance shown on Parliament Hill shines like a beacon in the night, for all of the world to see. But then it has in one form or another for decades. Canadians should unite and boycott the Canadian Olympics period, spend their hard earned wages on purchasing something worthwhile like hearing aids and intense therapy and counscelling sessions for those MP’s who support the mass murder of the innocent.
Olympic Games are to spread Unity, or at least that was the thought, international athletes coming together….if anything the Games is a wonderful platform for the athletes to come together in opposing the seal hunt, drawing further international attention to the needless slaughter perpetuated ONLY in Canada. Any athlete supporting the seal hunt should in my opinion be stripped of whatever rankings they may have/earn.
Canada has earned the same reputation as China for the “heads up their a–s” attitudes of government.
Given that, I guess hearing aids would be of no use, we’d all have to get our hands too dirty digging too deep.
